You’re trying to find that certain picture someone sent you a while back and you can’t remember who it was. Instead of sifting through all your text messages from everyone who could have sent you the picture, why not extract all images from your text messages?

The free “Save MMS” app does exactly that. Go to the Play store and search for “save mms”, install the “Save MMS” app, then go to the App Drawer and run the app.

The app extracts all attachments (pictures, audio, video, etc.) from your MMS text messages. Scroll through the list of images until you find the image you want to save and tap on it.

The “Choose a filename” dialog box displays with a default filename assigned to the file. To change the filename, enter a new name in the “Filename” edit box, and tap “Save”.

The image file is saved to the “SavedMMS” folder on your local device storage. The following image shows the file in the default “My Files” file manager app. To view the image, tap on the filename.

Now, you can easily transfer your image files to your PC using a cloud service or a USB cable or just add it to your photos collection on your phone. You can also use a remote device manager, such as AirDroid, to transfer the image files to your PC.
